Now consider the House. Hundreds of hours of design time, with the Owner, usually a non-expert, as the ultimate decision-maker. 300 unique parts. Assembled in 1-2 years. Not much improvement in 100 years — some would even argue they’ve gotten worse. House roofs leak. Why? Because houses are bespoke projects.
